She was born to the late Clarence and Nona (nee Jackson) Hicks on June 4, 1932 in Holland, Missouri. She married Russell Sneed on June 10, 1952 in Piggott, Arkansas; he survives. She had worked at Snyder General in Red Bud, Illinois. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Red Bud, Illinois. She was a collector of porcelain dolls. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
