She was born to the late William J. and Lorene Marie (nee Buatte) Kriete on August 8, 1937 on Kaskaskia Island, IL. Peggy was an office worker at Prince Gardner in St. Mary, MO. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois. She was an avid gardener.
