SHIRLEY A. BROWN, 69, of Chester, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois. She was born to Robert and Ruby (nee: Clendenin) Butler on July 16, 1941 in Chester, IL. She married James Brown, Sr. on December 23, 1967 in Chester, IL. He survives. Shirley was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois and the American Legion Auxiliary.
