ANN L. CONGIARDO, 82, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:15 pm, Monday, January 24, 2011 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late Arthur L. and Anna E. (nee Barnes) Smith on November 20, 1928 in Salem, Illinois. She married Joseph Anthony Congiardo on January 12, 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana; he preceded her in death on August 25, 2003. Ann was of Protestant Faith. She was a homemaker and also had work for her husband as a secretary at the Carpenter's Local #1361 in Chester. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She loved watching her birds and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed her travels and her winters in Florida. She was an avid Bingo player. She will be missed by family and friends.
