JOHN B. NIERMANN, 81, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 9:34 am, Thursday, December 2, 2010 at his residence. He was born to the late William and Clara (nee Wiegard) Niermann on November 22, 1929 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He married Connie Bachelier on November 23, 1955 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois and they just celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. He owned and operated Niermann Construction in Prairie du Rocher and Red Bud for 35 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, IL, Knight of Columbus #1952, Evansville, IL, American Legion Post #622, Prairie du Rocher, IL and Carpenter Local #1361, Chester, IL. He was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran.
