M. FERN EGGEMEYER, 77, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 11:05 pm, Friday, November 19, 2010 at St. Ann's Healthcare Center, Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late Benjamin and Maimie (nee Wheat) Guethle on April 19, 1933 in Chester, Illinois. She married Rodney Earl Eggemeyer on February 9, 1952 at Zion Lutheran Church, Walsh, Illinois; he survives. She was a homemaker and also had worked in the Lab at Gilster Mary-Lee in Steeleville, IL She was of the Lutheran Faith. She loved to dance and go fishing. She was also the first woman in Randolph County to kill a deer.
