GILMORE J. MELLIERE, 93, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 11:33 am, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Waterloo, Illinois. He was born to the late Warren and Clara (nee Heine) Melliere on July 5, 1917 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois. He married Lorraine M. Fausz on December 29, 1948 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; she survives. He was an Operating Engineer for Stotz Quarry for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, Holy Name Society at Church, American Legion Post #622, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, Knights of Columbus Council #1952, Evansville, Illinois and Operating Engineers Local #520.
