She was born to the late Frank and Myrtle (nee: Radford) Canady on February 4, 1919 in Dent County, Missouri. She married Raymond Fortner on September 24, 1936 in Ste. Genevieve, MO. He preceded her in death. Gladys was a housewife. She was a member of the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Chester, IL. Survivors: 1 Sister: Mae Renner Chester, IL 6 Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband - Raymond Fortner, 1 Son - Jerry Lee Fortner, 1 Daughter - Violet M. Turner, 2 Brothers - Raymond Canady and Leonard Canady, 1 Sister - Ruby Fortner and 2 Granddaughters - Connie Masters and Sara Allison Williams.
