BETTY J. KATTENBRAKER, 83, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:06 am, Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois. She was born to the late Lacy and Sarah (nee Curless) McConkey on October 27, 1926 in Mt. Summit, Illinois. She married Arthur R. "Russ" Kattenbraker on January 11, 1947 in Chester, Illinois; he survives. She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith. She had a love for animals.
