Marion was born to the late Leo and Catherine (nee Petrowske) Scheltgen on January 12, 1920 at Ellis Grove, Illinois Marion married Ralph Hasemeyer on June 10, 1938 at Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 26, 1982. She was a homemaker. Marion was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Ellis Grove, Illinois and the Altar Sodality. She was an avid quilter.
