BLANCHE ESTER VASQUEZ, 97, of Chester, Illinois passed away at 10:30 pm, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois. Blanche was born to the late Michael and Wilhelmina (nee Gorzney) Surman on August 14, 1912 at Pinckneyville, Illinois. Blanche married Daniel S. Vasquez on February 19, 1946, at Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 29, 2001. Blanche was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning and going to yard sales with Shirley Parks She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, St. Mary CCW and Randolph County Farm Bureau.
