ALBERT F. “JIM” KEMPFER , 87, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 9:30 pm, Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Illinois.
He was born to the late Roy and Minnie (nee Keller) Kempfer on July 29, 1932 in Evansville, Illinois.
Jim married June M. Glenn on April 19, 1952 in Evansville, Illinois; she survives.
He had worked at the International Shoe Factory in Evansville, Illinois for 20 years. He was also a Police Officer for Evansville and a school bus driver.
He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Evansville, Illinois. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville. Jim enjoyed playing music with his group Gentleman Jim and the Country Gents and was an avid hunter.
Jim was a Korean War Veteran.
