ALBERTA FAITH SPRADLING 88, of Smithton, Illinois, formally of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 3:34 pm, Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Revela at O’Fallon, Illinois.


She was born to the late Albert and Elizabeth (nee Jones) Granzow on December 14, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri.


Alberta married Ray Elmer Spradling on September 7, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri; he survives.


Alberta loved to travel with her husband, Ray. Together they traveled to all 50 states.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Columbia, Illinois. At St. Paul Lutheran Church, Columbia, Illinois, she helped fundraising for renovations.
