Barbara Ann Ladwig

BARBARA ANN LADWIG , 86, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 6:14 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Garden Place in Columbia, Illinois.

She was born to the late Vernon and Frieda (nee Landmann) Bockhorn on March 7, 1937 in Walsh, Illinois.

Barbara married Allen Schrader on February 23, 1963 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Steeleville, Illinois; he preceded her in death on August 25, 1985. On June 25, 1988, Barbara married William Ladwig at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 4, 2002.

Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Sparta High School. She was a devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois, and participated in many church activities. Barbara was a fun loving member of many organizations including The Red Hat Ladies, North County Country Club Women’s Golf League and her bowling league. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as traveling, golfing and shopping.
