BARBARA A. MARCHESKI , 79 , of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 8:49 pm, Sunday, August 8, 2021 at her residence.

She was born to the late Harry and Hallie (nee Payton) Berghoefer on April 10, 1942 in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Barbara married Thomas L. Marcheski, Sr. on March 1, 1969 in Cahokia, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 9, 2016.

She had worked at both St. Clement’s Hospital and Red Bud Regional Hospital in the cafeteria.

She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Church in Red Bud, Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shopping.

It was Barbara’s wishes to be cremated.
