Bernard "Barney" William Barkhau, Jr.

BERNARD “BARNEY” WILLIAM BARKHAU JR., 81, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 2:48 am, Friday, October 16, 2026, at his residence.

He was born to the late Bernard W. and Rose Mary (nee Novotmy) Barkhau, Sr., on January 15, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Barney had been a lifelong farmer and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waterloo (Tipton), Illinois.
