Bernice M. Schuhmacher

BERNICE M. SCHUHMACHER, 89, of Red Bud, Illinois, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away at 10:51 pm, Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Illinois.

She was born to the late Leo and Isabel (nee Pautler) Schuhmacher on July 12, 1934 in Evansville, Illinois.

Bernice had worked as an Administrative Secretary for KPMG Auditing Firm until her retirement.

She was of Catholic Faith. Bernice enjoyed going to shows at the Fabulous Fox Theater and the Muny.

Preceded in death by: Parents, 1 Sister – Alice Siegfried, 1 Brother-in-law – Lloyd Siegfried, 1 Niece – Jan Siegfried and 2 Nephews – Joe and John Siegfried

A Private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois. Burial will be at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Family Choice and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud, Illinois.
