Betty I Deterding

BETTY I. DETERDING , 8 4, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 8:55 am, Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her residence.

She was born to the late Frank and Clara (nee DeRousse) Kempfer on August 31, 1937, in Modoc, Illinois.

Betty married Paul Deterding on September 3, 1956 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Modoc, Illinois; he preceded her in death on October 21, 1965.

Betty was a Customer Service Representative for First Bank in Red Bud, Illinois from 1975-2011.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan. Her past times included listening to music, especially Daniel O’Donnell, working in her garden, playing cards and going out to eat with her family and friends.
