Betty Jane Nelson

BETTY JANE NELSON , 85 , of Chester, Illinois , passed away at 9:15 pm , Satur day, February 2 , 2019 at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Illinois .

She was born to the late Robert William and Letty Elizabeth (nee Barnett) Dorries on December 11, 1933 in Malden, Missouri.

Betty was a homemaker and also worked at Hardee’s in Chester.

1 Sister: Brenda Joyce Dorries                               Harrisburg, IL

1 Nephew: Jeff rey Dean Dorries Chesapeake, VA

1 Grandson: Christopher (Jennifer) Riner

2 Great Granddaughters: Bailey Riner and Alaina Rose

Preceded in Death by : Parents, 1 Son – Ray Allen Nelson and 1 Brother – Jack Dorries

It was Betty’s wish to be cremated. Private services will be held at a later date.
