She was born to the late Harve Jolly and Mary Murray on June 28, 1934 in Cairo, Illinois.

Betty married Clifford Wingerter on March 30, 1951 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on October 17, 2013.

She was a homemaker.

Betty was of Lutheran Faith. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles and loved spending time with her family.
