Boniface A. Becker

BONIFACE A. BECKER, 82, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 8:30 am, Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Garden Place, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to Festus and Elizabeth (nee Labruyere) Becker on March 10, 1939 in Evansville, Illinois.

Boniface married Lorna Stamm on February 6, 1965 in Cairo, Illinois; she preceded him in death on January 26, 1975. He then married Rosalie (nee Greathouse) Stamm on October 7, 2006; she preceded him in death on November 14, 2012.

He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years and retired from Emerson Electric in St. Louis, Missouri. He went to auctioneer school in Mason City, Iowa where he graduated on March 16, 1963.

Boniface was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ruma, Illinois. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #1172, Evansville Senior Citizens, and a member of Local #50 Teamster. He was a Korean War Army Veteran.
