Bonnie K Hitzemann

BONNIE K. HITZEMANN , 73 of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 4:20 am, Monday, April 22, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born to the late Kenneth and Geneva (nee Hanebutt) Stellhorn on October 22, 1950 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Bonnie married Gerald Hitzemann on August 9, 1969 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Red Bud (Prairie), Illinois; he survives.

She worked at First State Bank of Red Bud for 18 years. In 2012, Bonnie left the bank to care for grandchildren until they went to school.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Red Bud (Prairie), Illinois

Bonnie always put the needs of others before her own, even in her last days. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her kindness and generosity will live on through all the lives she’s touched, particularly her grandchildren.
