Brenda K Prost

BRENDA K, PROST , 76 , of Sparta, Illinois, formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:45 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Cedarhurst of Sparta.

She was born to the late Arkell and Dolores (nee Sidick) Clendenin on September 7, 1944 in Chester, Illinois.

Brenda married James Prost on June 29, 1963 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on October 1, 2017.

She worked as a clerk in the court system and also a legal secretary for 40 years. She owned and operated, along with her husband, an Alfalfa Mill in McBride, Missouri and Car Wash in Chester, Illinois.

She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her dearly beloved animals.
