Brian R Garris

BRIAN R. GARRIS , 53 , of Chester, Illinois, was brought into his heavenly resting place peacefully at 10:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.

He was born to the late Robert W. and Dorothy (nee Mehrtens) Garris on September 26, 1969 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Brian loved dinosaurs, anything Disney, art, comic books, Smurfs, Spongebob, and rock and roll music. He always went to a different beat in this life, and when an early Parkinson Disease diagnosis was given at age 35, his life became increasingly hard. Brian was a special soul, and he will never be forgotten by those who loved him.

Brian will be cremated and a graveside service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the near future.

Memorials may be given to Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home earmarked for Resident’s Activity Fund and will be accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester.
