Byron K. Kempfer

BYRON K. KEMPFER, 66, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 2:20 pm, Monday, May 11, 2020 at his residence.

He was born to the late Robert “Pete” and Edith (nee Bardmess) Kempfer on July 21, 1953 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Byron married Eunice Burgdorf on May 14, 1988 in Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation for 15 years.

Byron was of Baptist Faith. He enjoyed bowling, playing ball and throwing horseshoes.

It was Byron’s wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
