C. John Prigge

C. JOHN PRIGGE , 83, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 2:06 am, Friday, October 9, 2020 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late Arnold and Rose Ann (nee Voges) Prigge, Sr. on June 5, 1937 in Red Bud, Illinois.

He married Joan Dannenberg on December 30, 1960 at St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.

C. John worked as an Auto Technician for Ratz Motor Company in Red Bud and he also owned and operated C. J. Auto Repair in Red Bud from 1977-1992.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois. He was also a member of Choir and Men’s Club at the church. He was a member of the River Road Cruisers and he had a love of Ford cars. He volunteered at the Red Bud Area Museum and Red Bud Hospital. He enjoyed camping and music. He was an Army Veteran.
