Charles M. Stork

CHARLES M. STORK, 84, of Pinckneyville, Illinois, passed away at 3:43 am, Friday, September 11, 2020 at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Illinois.

He was born to the late Arthur and Katie (nee Young) Stork on September 14, 1935 in Walsh, Illinois.

Charles married Patricia “Pat” Wesbecher on October 18, 1958 at St. Pius V Catholic Church in Walsh, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked as a Construction Laborer for Local 925 in Ellis Grove, Illinois. Charles, along with his wife Pat, owned and operated Stork Mower Shop in Sparta, Illinois for over 27 years.

He was of the Christian Faith. He was a member of the American Legion Post #2504 in Pinckneyville and Knight of Columbus #1952 in Evansville, Illinois. He graduated from Parks Air College receiving a private pilot license. He served in Army Reserve.

Charles was a fun-loving and gentle person who loved all his family, his pets, classic country music, gardening and watching stock car racing.
