Dale R. Lochhead

DALE R. LOCHHEAD, 78, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:50 am, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

He was born to the late James H. and Hilda D. (nee Knigge) Lochhead on July 13, 1940 in Chester, Illinois.

Dale married Bonnie Bessen on February 1, 1969 in Red Bud, Illinois; she preceded him in death on January 1, 2013.

He had worked for the Human Service Center as a counselor and was a mechanic for over 25 years at the family owned business. Dale also worked as a toll taker at the Chester Bridge.

Dale was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #487.

He was an Army Veteran.

Preceded in Death by : Parents, Wife and 2 Brothers – Donald Lochhead and Dean Lochhead

It was Dale’s wish to be cremated. Burial will be held at a later date.
