Dallas J Hill

DALLAS J. HILL , 84, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 9:14 pm, Saturday, March 28, 2020 at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, Illinois.

He was born to the late June and Alice (nee Grote) Hill on June 11, 1935 in Washington County, Illinois.

He married Jean Todd on August 20, 1966 in Pinckneyville, Illinois; she survives.

He had been a Supervisor for Consolidation Coal Company in Modoc, Illinois for 26 years.

He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Church in Red Bud, Illinois, Masonic Lodge # 427 in Red Bud, and A i n a d Shriner. Dallas also served on the church council. He enjoyed traveling in his RV and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was Korean War Marine Corp Veteran and proud US Marine.

It was Dallas’s wishes to be cremated and no services will be held.

Memorials contributions can be made in Dallas’s memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Peter’s United Church of Christ and memorials are being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud.
