DARLENE N. WAGNER, 89, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:00 am, Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Illinois.

She was born to the late Raymond and Grace (nee Smith) Ebers on April 20, 1934 in Chester, Illinois.

Darlene married Henry Wagner on July 15, 1978 in Belleville, Illinois; he preceded her in death on July 21, 2018.

She was a homemaker.

Darlene was a member of the Family Worship Center in Chester, Illinois. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and watching soap operas.

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband and 1 Son

It was Darlene’s wish to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
