David J Gregson

DAVID J. GREGSON , 66 , of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:43 am, Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late John W. and Marian M. (nee Kuehner) Gregson on September 14, 1955 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Dave married Lynn Farrar on September 13, 1980 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.

Dave owned and operated Gregson Painting for 48 years and Gregson’s Advertising for 24 years.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois. He was also a member of the Hecker Sportsman Club and Red Bud Athletic Association. He had been a dedicated Khoury League Coach and never missed a sporting event of his sons and grandsons.

He enjoyed playing softball and bowling for many years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed sharing his passion with his sons and grandsons. Besides his family, his other proud and joy was his 1967 and 1995 Chevy Pickup Trucks. He ended all his phone calls with “right, right, right” and always told everyone “It will be alright”.
