Deborah L. Hanger

DEBORAH L. HANGER, 67, of Sparta, Illinois, passed away at 12:29 am, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.

She was born to the late Albert “Jim” and June (nee Glenn) Kempfer on January 10, 1954 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Deborah married Robert Hanger on July 5, 2005 in Chester, Illinois; he survives.

Before retiring, she had worked as an assembler at Spartan Light Metals in Sparta, Illinois.

Deborah was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Evansville, Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, fishing, gardening and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

It was Deborah’s wish to be cremated. A private graveside services will be held at a later date.
