Delbert L. Klein

DELBERT L. KLEIN , 8 3 , of Carbondale, Illinois, formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:50 am, Friday, November 8, 2019 at SIH Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

He was born to the late Roman and Dorothy (nee Milligan) Klein on November 17, 1935 in Chester, Illinois.

He married Betty Popejoy in November 8, 1958 in Chester, Illinois; she preceded him in death on November 8, 2012.

Delbert had worked as a contractor for heating and air conditioning for over 40 years.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois.

Delbert was an Army Veteran.

Preceded in Death by : Parents, Wife, 1 Brother – Tom Klein and 1 Granddaughter – Amanda Lingle

It was Delbert’s wish to be cremated. Private services will be held at a later date.
