Delbert K. Rubach

DELBERT K. RUBACH, 93, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:11 pm, Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Illinois.

He was born to the late Arnold and Marie (nee Redecker) Rubach on October 24, 1928 in Chester, Illinois.

Delbert married Rita Hennemann on November 4, 1950 in Piggot, Arkansas; she preceded him in death on November 28, 2005.

He had worked in maintenance and as a mechanic at Peabody Coal for 21 years.

Delbert was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. He was also a member of the Eagles Club Aerie #3252 and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #487 and V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester. He enjoyed tinkering with riding lawnmowers.

He was a Korean War Army Veteran.
