Denise Sue Daniels

DENISE SUE DANIELS, 76, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 3:05 pm, Friday, October 11, 2019 at Integrity Healthcare of Smithton, Smithton, Illinois.

She was born to the late Earl A. and Katherine (nee Mardis) Wellman on October 7, 1943 in Red Bud, Illinois.

She married her best friend and the love of her life Raymond P. Daniels, Sr. on July 24, 2004 at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud. Raymond preceded her in death on July 17, 2012. Raymond and Denise loved riding on their gold wing motorcycle and put 32,000 miles on it in 3 ½ short years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Bud. She made afghans and gave them to Bald Knob Cross.

She enjoyed shooting at the gun club and fishing, boating and spending as much time outdoors with her husband.

After the service, it was Denise’s wishes to be cremated and her ashes, along with her husband and dog - Lucky, to be spread at the Bald Knob Cross.
