Dennis D Guethle

DENNIS D. GUETHLE, 70, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:57 am, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late George “Freddie” and Marveline “Puddin” (nee Helmers) Guethle on May 22, 1956, in Menard, Illinois.

Dennis was a dedicated worker who spent over 25 years serving his community as a mechanic for the City of Chester. Known for his skill and work ethic, his love for mechanics extended well beyond his job; he truly enjoyed spending his free time working on automobiles and lawnmowers, always ready to fix things or tinker in the garage.

Above all, Dennis loved the simple pleasures in life, especially taking his daily rides with his loyal dog, Butch.
