DENNIS J. MALOTT, 73, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 2:38 pm, Monday, April 13, 2026, at his residence.
He was born to the late James Harley and Virginia L. (nee Greenfield) Malott on November 15, 1952, in Red Bud, Illinois.
Dennis had worked at Snyder General in Red Bud, Illinois, until his retirement.
Dennis had a lifelong passion for technology and communication. Whether he was working on his computers, playing computer games, or operating his Ham Radio, he was always engaged with the evolving world around him. An avid reader, he spent many hours immersed in books or on his tablet.
When he wasn’t at his desk or with a book, Dennis was a dedicated fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a dedicated fan who rarely missed a game, finding joy in the sport's traditions and the spirit of his favorite team.
While Dennis preferred a quiet life away from the spotlight, those who knew him understood the depth of his character and the sincerity of his interests. He will be remembered for his independent spirit and the quiet ways he touched the lives of his family and friends.
