DONALD C. KUEKER , 82. of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 4:35 am, Thursday, July 31, 2024 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

He was born to the late Clarence and Ruth (nee Heuman) Kueker on June 23, 1942 in Preston, Illinois.

Don married Paulette Hecke on April 4, 1960 in Perryville, Missouri; she preceded him in death on March 19, 2018.

Don had worked for Wiegmann in Freeburg, Illinois for 35 years as a painter, welder, and floor supervisor.

Don was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois.

Don enjoyed camping, hunting, watching Western movies and, NASCAR and Indy races. He was a huge Illini basketball fan.
