Donald Loyd Wahl

DONALD LOYD WAHL, 88, of Walsh, Illinois, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, Illinois.

He was born to the late Roy and Florence (nee McCormick) Wahl on May 19, 1935 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Donald married Doris Elaine Ashley on July 14, 1956, she preceded him in death in 2001.

He had worked for Spartan Printing for 7 years, Singer Furnace Factory in Red Bud for 24 years and had retired at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation where he worked for 5 years.

Donald was a member of Preston United Methodist Church. He was an avid horseshoe player, fisherman and gardener. Donald also enjoyed camping and adored his late dog Chewy.

He was an United States Army Veteran.
