Dorothy J. Edwards

DOROTHY J. EDWARDS, 88, of Sparta, Illinois, passed away at 11:11 am, Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, Illinois.

She was born to the late Alfred and Martha (nee Eggemeyer) Krantz on August 7, 1932 in Chester, Illinois.

She married Ora Edwards on February 14, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church; he survives.

Dorothy had worked in the dietary department at St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Chester for several years.

Dorothy was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Evansville. Dorothy enjoyed quilting and playing bingo.
