DOROTHY L. JANY, 78, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:46 pm, Monday, February 24, 2020 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

She was born to the late Courtney A. and Roberta F. (nee Hiser) Dilday on May 4, 1941 at home in Hog Hill, Illinois.

Dorothy married George Jany on July 19, 1984 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on April 16, 2018.

She was a homemaker.

Dorothy was of the Baptist faith. She was a long time member of the Eagles Club Aerie #3252. Dorothy enjoyed fishing with her husband George and family and friends, playing cards and spending time with her family.
