Dorothy K Rinne

DOROTHY K. RINNE, 86, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 3:05 pm, Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her residence.

She was born to the late Elmer and Marie (nee Diercks) Koch on March 30, 1934 in Steeleville, Illinois.

Dorothy married Lester “Les” Rinne on April 3, 1953 in Steeleville, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 21, 2002.

Dorothy had worked in the office at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois for over 20 years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. Dorothy volunteered on blood drives for the American Red Cross and also volunteered for the Braille Book. She also worked in the Hospital Gift Shop.

A Private Funeral Service will be held with Rev. Justin Massey officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, Illinois.

Memorials contributions can be made in Dorothy’s memory to St. John Lutheran Church and

memorials are being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
