Earl "Skeeter" C. Kueker

EARL “SKEETER” C. KUEKER , 82, of Ruma, Illinois, passed away at 10:55 am, Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late Edward and Freida (nee Schlemmer) Kueker on November 22, 1938 in Ruma, Illinois.

Earl married Laura A. Brewer on September 4, 1959 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked at the Quarry and Coal Mine.

Earl was a member of the Ruma Athletic Club. He had served as Mayor and an Alderman for the Village of Ruma. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Preceded in death by: Parents, 2 Sisters – Mildred (Raymond “Butch”) Fix and Jennie (Charlie) Bailey, 1 Brother- Merl Kueker, 1 Aunt – Lydia Kueker, 1 Uncle – Fritz Kueker and In-laws – Ray & Selma Brewer

It was Earl’s wishes to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made in Earl’s memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, Ruma Park or Heartland Hospice and memorials are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud.
