Edith "Tommy" Elizabeth Mueth

EDITH “TOMMY” ELIZABETH MUETH, 96, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 5:35 am, Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Red Bud Regional Care , Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born to the late Ralph and Ruth (nee Diehl) Davis on September 26, 1923 in Red Bud, Illinois.

She married LaVergne Mueth on November 27, 1947 in Freeburg, Illinois; he preceded her in death on February 13, 1985.

She was a bookkeeper for Auto Tire & Parts in Red Bud, Illinois for 47 years.

Tommy was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Red Bud, Illinois and she also taught Sunday School. She had also been a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack #342 and also served as secretary for Gilbert Cemetery.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Church in Red Bud, Illinois with Rev. Cory Hartz officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in Red Bud, Illinois.

Memorials contributions can be made in Tommy’s memory to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ or Gilbert Cemetery and memorials are being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud.
