Elsa J. Koester

ELSA J. KOESTER, 100, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 6:15 pm, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late Friedrich C. and Wilhelmina (nee Rowold) Koester on July 30, 1920 in Evansville, Illinois.

Elsa was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. Elsa taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ladie’s Aid. She was also a very talented quilter and had been a caregiver to several of her siblings.

Preceded in Death by : Parents, 5 Brothers – Alfred, Bill, Fred, Paul and Herbert and 5 Sisters – Helen, Alma, Ida, Anna and Minnie
