She was born to the late Raymond and Lydia (nee Gerlach) Herschbach on August 19, 1938 in Granite City, Illinois.
Frances married Marvin Wegener on August 11, 1979 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Evansville, Illinois.
She was had been a bookkeeper for Red Bud Oil, Schuchmann Tax Service and Christ our Savior Lutheran High School.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois, American Legion Auxiliary in Evansville, V.F.W Auxiliary in Red Bud, and the L.W.M.L. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

A Private Funeral Service will be held for family on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at St. Peter’s
Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois with Rev. Thomas Handrich officiating with burial being
at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Evansville, Illinois.
A public visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at St. Peter’s Lutheran
Church in Evansville, Illinois. We are limited to 25 people in the church at a time. We ask that
everyone wear a mask and please use social distancing guidelines.
