GENEVA L. KILLION, 92 of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 3:30 am, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.
She was born to the late Otto and Grace (nee Bockhorn) Eggemeyer on May 10, 1926 in Chester, Illinois.
Geneva married Lon Oliver Killion on May 12, 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bremen; he preceded her in death on January 18, 1978.
She had worked as a secretary for Chester Mental Health Center for 20 years, then owned Killions Restaurant in Steeleville for 8 years. After selling the restaurant, she worked at the thrift shop in Chester for 20 years.
Geneva was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Chester. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and doing crossword puzzles. She also loved going dancing at the legion and spending time with her family.
