GERALD DAVID RUCKER, 83, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:16 pm, Monday, September 19, 2022 at his residence.

He was born to the late Charles and Helen (nee Hanneken) Rucker on December 7, 1938 in Robertson, Missouri.

Gerald married June McAdams on October 17, 1959 in Chester, Illinois, she preceded him in death on August 18, 1978. He then married Jerry Kueker on June 2, 1993 at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois; she survives.

He worked at Sparta Printing Press and then Solar Press. After he retired, he worked the grill at Rozier’s Country Mart in Chester, Illinois.

Gerald was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. He was adamant sports fan – St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues and Chester Yellowjackets. He loved gardening, doing puzzles, playing rummy, coaching, and spending time with family.
