GLENN D. BOLLINGER, 88, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 12:33 pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Coulterville, Illinois.
He was born to the late Henry and Ina (nee Harmon) Bollinger on February 9, 1932 in Walsh, Illinois.
Glenn married Lois Ann Heuman on December 2, 1961 in Evansville, Illinois; she preceded him in death on July 4, 2005.
He had worked as a service tech lineman for General Telephone/Verizon for 40 years.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Evansville, Illinois. Glenn was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #3553, the American Legion Post #1172 and the Kaskaskia Lodge #86. He also served on the Sparta School Board for 13 years and several chairs for St. John United Church of Christ in Evansville.
Glenn was a Korean War Air Force Veteran and served for 4 years as a Rank Staff Sergeant.
