Glenn R. Korando

GLENN R. KORANDO , 87 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:16 pm, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Red Bud Regional Care Center.

He was born to the late Joseph and Philomena (nee Bert) Korando on March 9, 1934 in Chester, Illinois.

Glenn married Ruby Verseman on September 20, 1958 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester; she preceded him in death on October 15, 2020.

He retired from Illinois Power after 29 years and was also a lifelong farmer.

Glenn was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester. He was also a lifelong member of the American Legion Post #487 and a member of the V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester.

He was a Korean War Marine Veteran.
